While some guests noted that certain aspects such as the curtains, bathrooms, doors and elevator appeared to be a bit dated, the hotel has recently undergone renovations resulting in very large rooms with spectacular views. The sauna/spa area was also mentioned as being slightly old-fashioned, however, this did not detract from the overall experience. Although a few guests felt that the cleanliness and housekeeping could have been improved, the majority of guests felt that the hotel's facilities and services were truly enjoyable. While a small number of guests felt that the hotel was lacking in certain areas such as having an extra menu, overall, Waldhotel & SPA Davos - for body & soul was a wonderful stay at a 4-star level.
