Overall, the Waldhotel & SPA Davos - for body & soul is a wonderful stay at a 4-star level.

Location

Waldhotel & SPA Davos - for body & soul is a beautiful hotel located in an elevated position with stunning views over Davos and the mountains. The location is peaceful, surrounded by nature and the hotel is situated directly on hiking trails, such as the Waldpromenade and Eichhörnchenweg. There are also short distances from the parking lot to the ski room and an easy walk to the ice sports center. The hotel is in a prime location for hikes and walks and there is even a shuttle bus to the village as well as plenty of parking. The hotel is clean, spacious and has a traditional Swiss charm. There are plenty of lovely walks to be taken and while the location is a bit of a walk from downtown, it's well worth it for the amazing views. Some may find the location difficult to reach by foot, but for those who don't mind climbing a hill or two, the beautiful surroundings and peaceful atmosphere make it worth the effort. Rooms with balconies offer breathtaking views and the proximity to the Höhenweg is wonderful. The hotel's position by the forest is perfect for nature lovers and there are marked hiking trails to explore. The location is also praised for being quiet and relaxing, perfect for those looking to escape and recharge.
