The hotel offers great views and spacious, clean accommodations, making it a fantastic base for exploring the Mani region. The peaceful and quiet surroundings provide a good gateway for excursions to nearby attractions, including beautiful beaches. Despite being slightly outside the city center, the hotel is easily accessible on foot and offers plenty of parking just outside. Plus, guests can relish the rustic ambiance and beautiful gardens that make Ktima Karageorgou a small paradise. Whether traveling alone with family or friends, the hotel's strategic location is ideal for discovering the unique charm of Areopoli and the surrounding area.

Breakfast

Ktima Karageorgou offers a marvelous breakfast with homemade pastries and jams, fresh local products and a lot of variety. The friendly staff serves breakfast by the pool, making for a nice atmosphere. As vegans, guests were delighted to have the best breakfast they could expect. Guests enjoyed a petit déjeuner grec apprécié, an excellent petit déjeuner and a top-frühstück made with regional products. The breakfast was rich and delicious with an assortment of sucré et salé de spécialités maisons. The delicious breakfast varies from day to day and is served on the terrace with products and tea from the mountain. The breakfast at Ktima Karageorgou is excellent with everything almost regional and homemade. While some guests found the breakfast mediocre or okay, it was still rich and satisfying with good variety. Despite Covid protocols, the family of the owners provided guests with a beautiful and delicious buffet that was alles made homemade and they were very accommodating.

Dinner

If you're planning a stay at Ktima Karageorgou, you won't want to miss out on the dinner at the hotel. Although restaurant facilities apart from breakfast are limited, the dinner from their wood oven is exceptional. Guests rave about the 6-hour slow cooked lamb in the bread oven and the fantastic slow cooked lamb. One visitor even stated that it's worth ordering dinner at the hotel at least once during your stay. The food is lovingly prepared and served in a great atmosphere in the dining room. Guests who opted for the dinner menu were not disappointed and gave it five stars. However, if you're short on time, the stone oven can take a while to get heated, but this can be a blessing in disguise, as it gives visitors the chance to explore the stunningly beautiful town center of Areopolis and discover many great restaurants and bars.
