Guests at Potawatomi Inn & Cabins generally found the pool area to be an appealing feature of their stay, particularly noting the enjoyment of the heated pool during colder weather. Families found the facilities, including the pool, game room and whirlpool, to be delightful; children especially loved spending time in these areas. The indoor pool received mentions of being nice and swimmable, contributing positively to the guest experience.
However, there are consistent remarks indicating a need for maintenance and upgrades. Several guests pointed out that areas within the pool complex, such as the hot tub, sauna and jacuzzi, were occasionally out of order or in need of immediate attention. Some mentioned issues such as lukewarm temperature in the hot tub, soft spots in the pool floor and a general feeling that the pool area could benefit from repairs and cleaning. Despite these concerns, the pool's overall functionality and the joy it provided to families seem to outweigh the negatives for many visitors.

The Best Western Plus Coldwater Hotel provides a variety of amenities to make your stay a true delight. Among these amenities is the swimming pool and hot tub, which are well maintained and open for use during extended hours. The pool is clean and well stocked with towels and the staff are accommodating with early morning and late night hours. A drawback is that there were no towels available at one point. The hotel enforces adult-only hours for the pool area, creating a peaceful environment. Unfortunately, some guests experienced the pool closed due to renovations or foam in the hot tub, but these instances were rare. A helpful tip is to consider a rug in the elevator for safety precautions as they may be wet from pool-goers. Overall, the pool and staff received high marks and enhanced the experience of many guests staying at the Best Western Plus Coldwater Hotel.
