If you're looking for an ideal and accessible location in Perthshire to explore the surrounding areas, then 'Tigh Na Leigh' is the perfect guest house for you. The beautiful location of this stunning guest house is close to local restaurants and provides quick connectivity to towns and cities. The house's interior is beautiful and located in a peaceful town next to a magnificent garden.

The location is well worth exploring just to stay here as there are many scenic drives, walks and places to visit, including nearby Glamis Castle. The views of the garden during mealtimes are exceptional and the location is perfect for the weary walker with the Cateran Trail just off the doorstep.

The hospitality of the staff is amazing and Graham provided excellent advice and guidance for exploring the gorgeous Perthshire scenery. Alyth, the small town where the guest house is located, has many walks and places to visit around the area and is an excellent base for exploring N, S, E or W Scotland.

The only downside is that there isn't much choice for eating out in the immediate area without transportation, but the guest house's location makes up for it. Despite being located on a fairly busy road, the location is not too much of a problem. Overall, you couldn't wish for a more perfect location to explore and relax in this beautiful part of the country.

The dinner is divine, top quality and truly amazing with a changing menu that offers great choices of local meals prepared to perfection. The special vegan menu is also fabulous. Guests were delighted with the home-cooked meals, superb evening meals and fine wine and drinks available. The quality of breakfast and dinner was superb with the best duck and salmon ever had and steaks cooked to perfection. Excellent food and service are guaranteed and pre-ordering the evening meal is a great bonus. Owners and their daughter were lovely hosts who made guests feel welcomed and satisfied. Overall, Tigh Na Leigh is a superb place to stay and dine with fantastic reviews for its amazing meal choices and fine wine and spirits.

The owners are extremely engaging and went out of their way to chat and be helpful, providing plenty of local information about walks and restaurants. Graham's extensive local knowledge of the area was particularly helpful. Karen is an excellent cook and they both ensured that everything was perfect for guests' stay. The staff were all very friendly, professional and offered an exceptional and personalized service.
