Nestled in a picturesque setting, Relais & Spa Castello di Casiglio offers an experience that is visually appealing due to its remarkable location rather than its service quality. Guests have highlighted some shortfalls, particularly in the dining and accommodation services expected from a four-star establishment. The breakfast buffet often falls short, with limited selection and inadequate replenishment that leaves much to be desired in both quality and variety. Additionally, the lack of a dedicated bellboy service and the unremarkable quality of certain room categories, like the Junior Suite, have been noted as areas needing improvement. Although the hotel's distance from Como presents a minor inconvenience due to traffic, it is the service that seems to lag behind the prestigious four-star status the hotel boasts. Improvements in these areas could elevate the overall experience to match the serene beauty of its surroundings.

The Albavilla Hotel & Co falls short of the four-star standards it claims to uphold with several guests commenting that its amenities and services do not meet expectations. Many reviewers highlighted specific areas where the hotel fails to align with its four-star rating, such as the noisy rooms and minimal breakfast offerings. Issues with air conditioning in the dining room and bathroom fixtures have also been pointed out, indicating a need for renovation and improvement. While there are some positive mentions like it being a retreat for four stars, the consensus suggests the experience is more in line with a three-star or even a two-star, hotel. Overall, visitors feel that the hotel's current state does not justify its four-star designation.

Inverigo Hotel is advertised as a four-star establishment, but many guests feel that this rating is misleading. While the rooms are generally clean, they often appear worn out and are in need of modernization. Basic amenities typically expected at a four-star hotel are lacking and the overall condition of the facilities suggests a structure that could benefit from maintenance and upgrades.
Guests specifically mentioned the disappointing and weak breakfast offerings, which do not meet the standards expected from a hotel of this category. Issues with air conditioning and cold bathrooms were also noted, adding to the sense that comfort levels were not up to par.
Service at the hotel has been compared to that of a trucker's cafe, highlighting the gap between guest expectations for four-star service and what was actually experienced. Despite its shortcomings, some guests did find the hotel to offer great value for money, but overall, the Inverigo Hotel clearly has room for improvement if it wants to genuinely meet four-star standards.

Hotel Canturio appears to struggle with meeting the expectations typically associated with its 4-star rating. Guests have noted several areas where the hotel fell short, such as outdated furnishings, lack of soundproofing and limited breakfast options that didn’t include staples like bread rolls due to running out. The absence of air conditioning during the European summer also detracted from the experience. Issues with noise from an unstocked fridge and unclear communication about additional costs for in-room drinks were also cited. Despite its potential, the hotel needs significant updates and improvements to align with the standards of a 4-star establishment.

Arosio Hotel has sparked a discussion among guests regarding its four-star rating, with multiple comments suggesting that the establishment does not meet the expectations of such a classification. Reviewers frequently remarked on issues such as cleanliness, outdated facilities, and room conditions, which were found lacking for a hotel presented as four-star. Although the hotel is advertised as offering high-quality service and amenities, many guests were left wondering about the validity of this rating based on their experiences.
Despite these concerns, not all aspects of Arosio Hotel drew criticism. Some guests found the overall facility satisfactory, though they suggested improvements, particularly in the breakfast service. However, these positive notes were overshadowed by more pressing issues such as a musty smell in rooms, non-functional amenities like wake-up calls and showers, and general dissatisfaction with the maintenance of the hotel.
In addition, the reception of Arosio Hotel was mixed regarding basic comforts, with feedback indicating that the rooms and hallways left much to be desired in terms of ambiance and upkeep. Guest experiences ranged from finding the room conditions less than desirable to being troubled by odors and insufficient heating. Ultimately, this underscores a consensus that while the hotel functions adequately in some areas, it does not live up to the four-star promises that might have attracted visitors initially.

Axolute Comfort Hotel Como-Cantù appears to fall short of the expectations set by its advertised four-star rating. Guests frequently note that the facilities and services provided do not align with those typically associated with a four-star establishment. The overall quality is described as closer to a three-star with some even suggesting it feels more like a two-star hotel.
One of the most common criticisms focuses on the outdated nature of the hotel with multiple reviewers mentioning that it has not been well-maintained since its renovation several years ago. Reports of broken showers and toilets further underscore concerns about its upkeep. Additionally, the breakfast offerings are particularly singled out as not meeting the standards expected of a four-star hotel.
