Overall, while not cheap and not quite 5-star worthy, the Whitethorn Bed and Breakfast is a small country hotel with excellent breakfast and a swimming pool to die for.

It's worth noting that access to the leisure center and pool requires booking in advance and some guests reported issues with gaining admission to the pool despite having booked. Despite this, the pool is a reasonable size and some guests enjoyed doing a few laps. The leisure center is more suited to keeping up your workout routine away from home than as a full gym. Dogs are welcome at the hotel and guests can also take advantage of the lovely outdoor area.
