Summary of reviews related to the '5 Star' category
Summarized by AI
Flamingo Cát Bà Resort Managed by Flamingo Hotels & Resorts appears to struggle with meeting the expectations typically associated with a five-star experience. Reviewers consistently express disappointment in various aspects of the resort. The service quality, particularly the proficiency of the staff in English, is highlighted as needing improvement. Guests felt the staff training did not reflect the standards of a luxury resort, with issues such as room turnovers being delayed and an unwillingness to handle minor requests like bringing coffee to the table.
Cleanliness and maintenance are also points of contention, with some guests observing inadequate cleaning of both the rooms and the surrounding areas, including the beach. The resort's reluctance to accept cards and perceived overcharging for services such as cleaning sheets also contributed to the dissatisfaction.
Moreover, guests found the amenities lacking and pointed out that the resort's design and services are not accommodating to international guests. The overall sentiment is that Flamingo Cát Bà Resort Managed by Flamingo Hotels & Resorts does not deliver the level of luxury and service expected from a five-star hotel, leaving many guests feeling that their stay was not worth the premium cost.
