Location

The Winchester Hotel and Spa boasts a brilliant central location, making it a great and relaxing option to explore Winchester from. It's also conveniently located within walking distance of the railway station and the city centre with some guests mentioning a brisk ten-minute walk. The hotel is in an excellent location for all there is to see in Winchester, from the Cathedral and surrounding shops to the theatre, cafes, pubs and restaurants. Despite its central location, it's still a quiet place to stay in, providing the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. The staff is also well staffed, polite and helpful, adding to the overall convenience and enjoyment of the hotel.

Breakfast

The Winchester Hotel and Spa serves breakfast buffet style with hot breakfast service areas and plenty of choices available including fruit, pastries and continental options. Some guests found the breakfast to be reasonably good or pretty average, while others thought it was great or very good. Vegetarian sausages ran out during one guest's stay, but GF bread was provided on request. A few guests thought the breakfast was a bit expensive for resident guests, but others found it to be good value.
