We found it to be a very well spent time with our family. The hotel offers exciting activities for kids such as games provided by the front desk, cooking classes and a gingerbread house. The lobby with its inviting fireplace and hot chocolate is perfect for unwinding with the family. The resort is also dog-friendly, which was great for us. Our kids loved visiting with Stewart & Penelope and we appreciated the friendly and helpful hosts. Although the meals were not included in the price, there are family-friendly dining options nearby. Overall, we had a great family getaway at The Essex Resort & Spa and would definitely recommend it to others.
