Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
HomeTowne Studios by Red Roof Denver - Lakewood West offers a budget-friendly accommodation option with a standout location conveniently near major highways and downtown Denver. The property's strategic placement is well-suited for those with nearby business or employment, providing easy access to Route 6 and public transportation. Guests appreciate the generally quiet surroundings and the ease of registration, often applauding the staff's helpfulness and patience.
The rooms at HomeTowne Studios are often praised for their generous size, offering ample space for families, and the operational amenities like excellent water pressure and effective air conditioning add to the comfort of the stay. The parking situation is also highlighted positively, with ample space available, accommodating even larger vehicles such as trailers.
The staff frequently receive commendations for their kindness, accommodating attitude, and willingness to assist guests. Several employees, including housekeeping and maintenance personnel, are noted for their helpfulness, contributing positively to the guest experience.
However, some aspects require attention. Cleanliness emerges as a significant concern, with reports of unclean rooms, pervasive mold, and unpleasant odors. Guests have also noted issues with bugs and broken fixtures. Variability in staff interactions is mentioned, with certain experiences less favorable due to unaccommodating front desk staff and broader management issues.
While some guests find the beds comfortable, the condition of the bedding and the type of bed frames have raised concerns. Enhancements in cleanliness, maintenance, and bedding quality could substantially improve the overall experience for guests at this hotel. Despite these challenges, the positive aspects of the location, room size, and staff friendliness are appreciated by many visitors.
