The outdoor pool at Holiday Inn Express Denver Central - North is a highlight for many guests, adding a beautiful and fun element to their stay. It's a popular spot for families, with children particularly enjoying their time swimming there. Guests appreciate the clean condition of the pool, which is carefully maintained along with the surrounding area. Although there were a few instances of the pool being unavailable or presenting minor maintenance issues like a broken ladder, it generally remains a pleasant feature with ample depth, offering a refreshing swim. The pool's availability until 10 p.m. is another bonus, allowing guests to enjoy a late swim after a day of exploring. Despite being a bit chilly in May, the pool is still quite appealing and serves as an excellent amenity for guests using the hotel as a base.

This advantageous location, combined with regular police patrols, ensures both convenience and a sense of security for visitors.
The experience with the rooms is somewhat varied, with some guests enjoying the aesthetic appeal of renovated spaces, although they are noted to be on the smaller side. However, there are notable concerns regarding cleanliness and amenities, with reports of dirty rooms, unpleasant odors, and a lack of basic amenities such as refrigerators and microwaves. Despite some rooms meeting standards, there is a call for overall improvements in room maintenance and quality.
Cleanliness appears to be a significant concern, with numerous guests commenting on issues such as dirty and smelly rooms, sticky floors, and mold. These problems extend to common areas like the pool, suggesting a need for a thorough cleaning and enhanced maintenance efforts.
