Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Rodeway Inn Seattle Airport receives high marks for its convenient location. Travelers appreciate its proximity to the Seattle-Tacoma Airport as well as easy access to public transportation like the light rail station, facilitating quick commutes to downtown Seattle. The hotel's affordability also makes it an attractive option for those needing a brief stay or layover. Additionally, the availability of a shuttle service starting at 7 AM adds further convenience, despite minor navigational issues reported with ride-sharing services.
Regarding breakfast, the hotel falls short in this area as no traditional breakfast is provided. The only complimentary offering is coffee available in the lobby, which has received mixed reviews. While this could be disappointing for guests expecting more, the nearby public transportation and a Denny's restaurant provide alternative breakfast options.
Guest reviews on the rooms reveal mixed feelings. Positives include the cleanliness of bathrooms and towels, the comfort of the beds and the overall quiet atmosphere. The check-in process is described as smooth and efficient. However, many guests feel the rooms are outdated with recurring issues such as musty odors, non-functional appliances and general lack of cleanliness, such as dirty carpets and furnishings.
Cleanliness at the hotel is particularly inconsistent. Although some guests find the bathrooms and bed linens clean, the majority highlight significant issues such as dirty common areas, worn-out furniture and unpleasant odors. Many reviews suggest that the property is in need of thorough cleaning and modernization.
Staff at Rodeway Inn Seattle Airport generally receive positive feedback for their friendliness and helpfulness with many instances of pleasant interactions and efficient service noted. However, there are sporadic reports of unprofessional behavior, indicating that the guest experience may vary depending on the specific staff encountered.
The complimentary WiFi is another notable feature, frequently praised for its good quality and stable connection, although some guests experience weak or spotty signals in certain areas. Overall, the availability of free WiFi is received well.
Parking arrangements at the hotel are convenient and appreciated by guests who drive with ample free parking spaces ensuring ease of access. There are minor issues concerning cleanliness and maintenance of the parking areas, as well as extra fees for multiple vehicles, but these do not overshadow the advantage of free parking.
Opinions on the beds vary with many guests finding them comfortable and clean. However, some complaints exist about worn-out mattresses, lumpy beds and cleanliness issues with bed linen. Improvements are needed in terms of bed quality and consistency.
In summary, Rodeway Inn Seattle Airport's strengths lie in its prime location, friendly staff and practical amenities like free WiFi and parking. However, areas such as cleanliness, room maintenance and breakfast offerings require significant improvements to fully meet guest expectations.
