Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Hotel San Rosendo is widely appreciated for its convenient location, particularly by concert-goers and event attendees, due to its close proximity to Expourense. Strategically positioned along the National road to Madrid, the hotel ensures easy access to the city center within a short five-minute drive or via public transport. Despite the need for careful navigation along the busy highway, the connectivity offered to downtown and other destinations is a consistent highlight, making it ideally situated for travelers with vehicles or those relying on taxis.
The breakfast experience at Hotel San Rosendo garners mixed reviews. While the hotel serves breakfast through its bar service, which guests find offers good portions and excellent prices, the restaurant remains closed during breakfast hours. This sometimes necessitates driving to other locations for breakfast, especially when the cafeteria is closed on Sundays and the bar doesn't open in the morning. Nonetheless, the breakfast available at the hotel's bar is generally well-received when accessible.
Guests commend the spaciousness and tranquility of the hotel rooms. They are described as large, bright and well-ventilated, offering impressive views and featuring expansive porches that provide a pleasant outdoor space. Cleanliness is a significant positive aspect with rooms and bathrooms being particularly clean and showers offering robust water pressure and consistent hot water.
However, there are some areas needing improvement, such as updating dated carpets and sheets and addressing the lack of air conditioning which can leave rooms feeling cold. Upgrading the comforters to duvets and considering minor renovations to enhance comfort would also be beneficial. Despite these issues, the overall ambiance, spaciousness and tranquility of the rooms make them a favorable choice for guests looking for comfort and relaxation.
