Hotel Familia is housed in a building that used to be an Olive Press from the 1890s until 1967, when the olive press closed down and the building became abandoned. Its current owners purchased the building in 2002 in order to restore it and turn it into the charming boutique hotel that it is today. The hotel's interiors and atmosphere, although restored and able to fulfil all modern needs, still retains some of the historic grandeur of its past, reflecting its deep history through small details and creating a very unique atmosphere.
