Campanile NATURE - Moulins Avermes stands out for its strategic and accessible location, making it ideal for travelers heading toward Nevers, as well as those attending events at the nearby Magny-Cours circuit and exhibition center. The quiet, serene environment, surrounded by vegetation and close to a park, provides a peaceful retreat despite its proximity to major roads. The availability of ample, free parking and friendly, welcoming staff adds to the overall positive experience with guests often highlighting the value for money.
The breakfast service at the hotel is widely appreciated for its generous and varied spread, including options like soy milk to cater to diverse preferences. The all-you-can-eat buffet is balanced and well-executed, providing a hearty start to the day. Although there are minor critiques regarding the freshness of the pastries and occasionally cramped buffet areas, the breakfast overall meets guest expectations.
The dining experience at the hotel receives mixed reviews. While the restaurant is noted for its friendly service and enjoyable outdoor dining options, the quality and value of the food receive varied opinions. Some guests find the meals delicious and the buffets extensive, while others mention high prices and inconsistent quality. Despite these critiques, many guests find the meal options satisfactory, thanks in part to the welcoming staff.
Rooms at Campanile NATURE - Moulins Avermes are generally described as spacious, comfortable and quiet with guests praising the comfortable bedding and functional bathrooms. However, many reviews point out that the decor and facilities are outdated with signs of wear and tear. Cleanliness, while usually maintained, has occasional lapses, indicating the need for more consistent upkeep.
Cleanliness of the hotel also receives mixed feedback. While many guests commend the clean bedding and pleasant housekeeping, others report issues like dusty floors and superficial cleaning. The outdated facilities may contribute to these varied experiences. Despite this, the central location and value for money remain appreciated.
The hotel's staff is frequently praised for their warm, friendly and professional service, significantly enhancing the guest experience. Numerous reviews highlight the accommodating and helpful nature of both the reception and dining staff, making them a noteworthy asset to the hotel.
Free WiFi is available, but it receives mixed reviews. While some guests appreciate the strong and functional signal, others find the WiFi slow and occasionally unreliable with some complexity in setup and additional costs for premium access.
Parking at the hotel is highly regarded for its convenience. The large, accessible, free parking lot near the rooms makes it easy for travelers with vehicles, providing added comfort after long journeys. Despite the absence of a guarded facility, the private and secure nature of the parking area is appreciated by guests.
The hotel is known for its family-friendly features, providing accessible rooms for families, pet-friendly accommodations and no extra charges for young children. However, preparedness for family needs occasionally falls short with issues like unprepared child beds and room maintenance highlighted. Nevertheless, it remains a practical choice for family stays due to its convenient location and spacious rooms.
Bedding quality is generally praised for comfort and cleanliness, although some practical issues like bed placement and the quality of extra beds need improvement. Guests often find the beds very comfortable, contributing to a restful stay.
Despite being rated as a three-star hotel, Campanile NATURE - Moulins Avermes seems to fall short of this standard according to guest reviews. The facility's outdated condition and several aspects in need of renovation lead many to suggest it aligns more closely with a two-star rating.
Lastly, the hotel’s dog-friendly policy is well-received, offering practical accommodations for travelers with pets. The direct exits to a lawn for dog walking enhance the convenience, although minor issues like dining restrictions with pets have been noted.
Overall, the Campanile NATURE - Moulins Avermes provides a pleasant stay with notable strengths in staff service, location and breakfast offerings, but would benefit from updates and improvements in several areas to fully meet expectations.
