Pousada Águas da Serra is a serene retreat nestled amidst rivers and mountains, offering guests a tranquil escape surrounded by nature's beauty. Its location near Areal, Itaipava, and Secretário provides convenient access to travel while immersing visitors in a picturesque landscape enhanced by the melodic sounds of a stream and a small waterfall. This idyllic setting is complemented by the inn's thoughtful decor, creating a romantic and relaxing atmosphere perfect for unwinding.
Guests are consistently impressed by the inn’s breakfast, featuring a wide variety of fresh, locally made products. The presentation is impeccable, often including homemade jams, cakes, and seasoned butters. This hearty and well-organized meal provides ample choice for health-conscious guests, allowing them to enjoy their breakfast amidst a cozy, rustic atmosphere accompanied by delightful choro music.
The rooms at Pousada Águas da Serra, though generally small, are appreciated for their comfort and cleanliness. Guests commend the comfortable beds and well-equipped chalets, with some rooms offering balconies that overlook a serene stream. The minor challenges like insufficient lighting, occasional air conditioning leaks, and small bathroom spaces do not overshadow the overall charm and coziness of the accommodations.
Cleanliness is a strong point for the inn, with guests noting the meticulous attention to maintaining an impeccably clean environment. The friendly and attentive staff, led by Márcia, the owner, are celebrated for their exceptional hospitality, creating a welcoming and family-like atmosphere. Their personal touch and commitment to guests' comfort stand out, contributing significantly to a pleasing stay.
While the parking facilities present some challenges due to their limited space, impacting maneuverability and convenience, this minor inconvenience is outweighed by the overall positive experience.
