It is a great starting point for different hikes with various trails going in the direction of Brocken or other parts of the National Park. The resort is also located next to a ski and toboggan run, making it an ideal choice for winter sports enthusiasts. The location is quiet and peaceful, providing a relaxing environment to unwind and let your soul rest. There are many excellent restaurants around, but it is recommended to reserve a table far in advance. The hotel rooms are well-equipped, comfortable and offer beautiful views of either the Brocken mountain or the Harzvorland. The sauna area overlooking the Brocken is just stunning. Overall, Torfhaus Harzresort is an excellent choice for anyone who enjoys an active vacation in a stunning natural setting.
