The buffets offer excellent food and the restaurants serve fantastic a la carte dishes with branded spirits, soft drinks and cocktails available. Snorkeling is spectacular and unforgettable and the crystal-clear waters make for a beautiful view while sunbathing on the big balcony or sunbeds. However, some reviewers have raised concerns about the cleanliness not being up to the standard of a 5-star hotel and the lack of quality in dessert and baked goods. Additionally, the structure is not up to par with the access system to themed restaurants and the price makes some guests avoid returning. Overall, Riu Palace Zanzibar is definitely worth a visit despite some minor issues raised.
