Resort Taking Steps Towards Sustainability
Sooriya Resort & Spa prioritizes conservation and sustainability. It harnesses solar energy for hot water generation and harvests rainwater for its gardens. The resort's effluent treatment plant recycles water for plant growth and nourishes its vegetable garden. It supports the local rural economy by purchasing produce from villagers at fair prices and prioritizes line-caught fish from local fishermen for sustainability.
