North Beach Hotel presents a unique blend of compelling features and notable shortcomings, making it an intriguing choice for travelers seeking both comfort and affordability. Despite reservations about its four-star status, guests consistently praise the hotel's prime location, situated directly on the beach and within easy reach of quality dining venues and attractions. This makes it an enticing option for families keen on combining relaxation with convenience.
The hotel's appearance often falls short of expectations set by its advertised rating, with many guests noting the disparity between its claimed status and actual offerings. While some areas, particularly the bathrooms and furniture, may show signs of wear and tear, the overall atmosphere of the property is described as peaceful and cozy, creating a welcoming retreat for visitors.
Facilities such as the four pools, including a heated option, and jacuzzis add value to the stay, with guests appreciating their maintenance and temperature. Additionally, positive remarks highlight good customer service, contributing to an enjoyable experience despite the perceived rating discrepancy.
For repeat visitors, North Beach Hotel consistently delivers satisfactory experiences, and guests commend the venue for its cleanliness and homey feeling. While it may not align with the full scope of a four-star establishment, its central location, reasonable pricing, and inviting ambiance offer a solid choice for those prioritizing beachside proximity and tranquility over luxury.

If you're looking for a luxurious getaway in Fort Lauderdale, Sonesta Fort Lauderdale Beach might just be the perfect pick. Though a couple of reviewers found the hotel to be a bit tired and dated, most guests had nothing but nice things to say about their stay. One reviewer even called it a "très bon 4 étoiles"! The hotel's facilities and services were deemed decent overall, although a few felt that the cost didn't quite match up with the quality. Some found the breakfast to be overpriced and others felt that the rooms could use a bit more upkeep. Still, it's hard to overlook the hotel's prime location on the beach. And, despite some mixed reviews, many guests had a great time and would definitely consider staying here again.

The Cabanas Guesthouse & Spa - Gay Men's Resort is a top-notch destination for those seeking a gay men's resort experience. The hotel is well-managed and the staff is exceptional with the majority being extremely nice, helpful and professional. From the moment you arrive, the staff is accommodating and ensures that every aspect of your visit is great. The tiki bar and pool area are fantastic amenities that add to the overall experience. Although there was one issue with a cleaning staff member, the hotel's overall staff is remarkable. The only suggestion for improvement would be for certain staff members to maintain a more professional boundary when it comes to fraternizing with guests via "the apps." Overall, The Cabanas Guesthouse & Spa - Gay Men's Resort is a must-visit for those seeking a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Beach Haus Bal Harbour offers a mixed experience for its guests. While some visitors appreciated the beautifully furnished condos and the clean, well-maintained facilities, others questioned its four-star rating. Positive aspects noted included the convenient location and available parking, which added to the overall practicality of the stay. However, issues such as the poorly maintained pool detracted from the hotel's appeal, leading several reviewers to feel that the hotel did not meet four-star standards. Despite these concerns, the accommodations themselves received favorable comments for their aesthetics and cleanliness.

Pelican Grand Beach Resort, a Noble House Resort is a beautiful classic style hotel with very good facilities and services. Although some reviews have mentioned a limited menu during their stay, the hotel still receives positive feedback overall. The hotel is a little on the expensive side, but this is to be expected for a 4-star hotel. Guests may like to try more local restaurants as the hotel food selection could benefit from a larger variety. Despite this, the hotel's services are passable and still worth considering for a stay.
