If you're looking for a perfect escape with beautiful views and accessibility to the rest of Bermuda, look no further than Pompano Beach Club. This beautiful property is built into a hillside overlooking a small beach that offers world-class golf on-site. With buses and ferries taking you all around the island, transport is a breeze and a bus stop is conveniently located nearby. The location is unparalleled with exceptional views, especially at sunset. Pompano Beach Club is located right on the water with its beautiful private beach that offers breathtaking views from every location. Although a bit out of the way, the staff makes it easy with transportation to the public bus stop. But don't just take our word for it. One guest has visited Bermuda 23 times and still comes back to Pompano year after year. The location is that amazing!
Breakfast
Located in Bermuda, Pompano Beach Club offers a stunning view of the ocean and an exceptional breakfast. Offering a meal plan of breakfast and dinner, guests found it to be well worth the expense. The food was described as "really good" and "EXCELLENT!" with many options to choose from. Most guests highly recommend the full or half board option as breakfast and dinner were said to be exceptional and of gourmet quality. The buffet was a particular highlight for many with tons of delicious options. However, a cautionary note is that if tables aren't cleared immediately, birds may descend. Despite this, the overall consensus is that the breakfast at Pompano Beach Club is top-notch and definitely worth trying.
Dinner
Pompano Beach Club seems to have won over guests with their dinner offerings. Many describe the meals as gourmet-type and with excellent value for money. The quality of the food is also praised repeatedly and guests love the comprehensive dinner menu. Although some were disappointed by certain dishes which were hit and miss, lacked excitement, or were inedible, these seem to have been rare exceptions. Most guests found the food to be very good, awesome and top-notch. The lovely salads are also worth mentioning. Overall, both lunch and dinner at Pompano Beach Club were great!

While some guests commented that the rooms are a bit outdated and had a musty smell, others found the beds comfortable and the towels good. However, sticking to the deluxe option in the renovated buildings is recommended. The deluxe room with a front row view offers a sizeable bathroom. Unfortunately, guests found flying cockroaches in their room during their visit and some areas of the property in need of some TLC, such as peeling paint and dated areas. Despite this, the majority of guests feel that the rooms are more than adequate and the property is a solid 4-star hotel.

Although the outside of the buildings could use some improvement in a few areas, the overall cleanliness of the hotel is commendable, despite some outdated decor. However, some guests note that attention needs to be paid to keeping the private beach free of debris that washes up. A few areas of the hotel are showing their age and could use a little TLC. The only setback is that some guests encountered issues with cleanliness, citing murky pool water, food particles on the floor, insects and mold on the bathroom ceiling.

The family-run hotel has owners who are on-site and know what they are doing, while the staff is generally excellent, friendly, helpful and courteous at all times. They are incredibly attentive, personable and lively, making you feel welcome as if you were one of their friends. Moreover, the staff go the extra mile to ensure that guests have a good time, accommodating requests and providing superb recommendations. One standout member of the team is Lorna, who makes sure you have enough to eat and gives the best recommendations. Meanwhile, guests praise the waitstaff for their outstanding service with Michael, Greg, Kim and Lynn receiving shout-outs. Overall, the staff is incredible, making for the friendliest hotel stay you'll ever experience.
