At the gorgeous Anantara Veli Maldives Resort, guests have raved about the amazing dining experiences available. The Baan Huura and Origami restaurants were particularly spectacular with special thanks going to Roshan and Sony at Origami for making one night unforgettable. While there were a few complaints about the quality of the food at dinner and the cost, some guests did enjoy the pizzas at the Italian restaurant and dishes at the Sea Fire Salt restaurant. It's worth noting that some felt the overall quality of the food could have been better. Those on the complete board package mentioned that there wasn't much included and some guests were disappointed with the dinner buffet at Digu. Although some felt that the restaurants were average and there could have been more variety, there were many positive comments about dining at the resort.

While some guests experienced minor issues such as limited storage space in the bathroom and less impressive views, the overall comfort and infrastructure of the villas and rooms did not disappoint.

The staff here are truly extraordinary and go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. From the moment you arrive, you'll feel welcomed and taken care of - our hosts Rifau and Ibrahim were both kind and attentive. Our villa host Feruza was excellent and made us feel right at home. The room boy Naala and the gentleman who helped us at the Male airport, Evaan, were also incredibly helpful. The New Year's Eve celebration with DJ Yara was wonderful and we were impressed with the speed and efficiency of the staff who always took care of our needs promptly - even communicating with us through WhatsApp. The staff here are truly professional with a caring attitude, always ready to help and make your stay memorable. We particularly appreciated the attention and friendliness of Mr. Sulvaan and Mr. Zaid, our villa assistants. The location is fantastic and the service is excellent - we can't recommend Anantara Veli Maldives Resort enough.
