Aparthotel Ciutat de Palol enjoys a remarkable blend of tranquility and convenience, set within a serene pine forest while being a mere 10-minute stroll from Platja d'Aro’s bustling center. Its proximity to beautiful beaches and coves, often just a two-minute walk away, allows guests to effortlessly explore the stunning coastline without the need for a car. This seamless balance of serenity and accessibility, paired with clean, well-organized facilities and friendly staff, makes the hotel an ideal beachside retreat.
The breakfast offerings are highly praised for their quality and variety, featuring a balance of sweet and savory items that cater to various tastes. The friendly and attentive staff enhance the dining experience, despite some remarks about the temperature of hot items and a call for more vegan options. Dinner at the à la carte restaurant is celebrated for its delicious homemade dishes, excellent service and affordability. However, the evening buffet could benefit from more variety. The poolside cocktails add a touch of luxury, although the small and poorly functioning kitchens in the apartments may be a concern for those preferring to cook.
Guest accommodations are commended for their cleanliness, comfort and spaciousness. The well-equipped kitchens, daily cleaning service and tranquil atmosphere contribute to a cozy, private-home-like experience. While some furnishings might seem outdated, the modern amenities and overall functionality outweigh these minor downsides.
The hotel's pristine condition extends to its beautifully kept gardens and pools, consistently described as clean and inviting. The multiple pool areas, including heated children's pools and a spacious jacuzzi, cater to guests of all ages and are complemented by ample loungers, parasols and a lifeguard ensuring safety.
The staff receives widespread acclaim for their exceptional friendliness, professionalism and readiness to assist with special mentions for individuals like Flor, Dan and Isaac who enhance the family-friendly atmosphere. The Wi-Fi, though, is noted as a weak point, often being slow or unstable, which might be inconvenient for activities requiring a stable connection.
The gym is part of a comprehensive set of facilities, though it receives mixed reviews with some finding it suitable and others pointing out a lack of equipment. The secure underground parking offers convenience, despite the additional cost and there is also ample free parking outside.
Guests have varying opinions about the beds; most find them comfortable, thanks to the quality bedding and king-size options, though some find the mattresses too firm and unsuitable for taller individuals.
Families with children particularly enjoy the resort’s amenities tailored for young guests, including heated children’s pools, a variety of activities and an expansive playground.
Overall, Aparthotel Ciutat de Palol stands out for its excellent location, cleanliness, quality dining options, comfortable accommodations and exceptional staff, making it a highly recommended destination for a pleasant and memorable stay.

Notably, the hotel is well-located with guests able to drive to the city center within just 10 minutes and the walk to the center is accessible. The hotel's cove is reachable by steps, adding to its charm. The apartments are comfortable and spacious with praise for accommodating reception staff.
However, the hotel's accessibility for people with mobility disabilities has room for improvement. Some guests pointed out that the numerous stairs to reach the apartments can be a hindrance and the absence of alternative routes adds to the difficulty. Suggestions for accessibility enhancements include replacing bathtubs with Italian showers and improving parking facilities for disabled persons. Although there is an elevator for those with reduced mobility, other features need to be considered to ensure a more inclusive environment. The property's high prices and lack of soundproofing were also noted, but overall, it serves as a practical and correct choice for many travelers.

The GHT Oasis Tossa & Spa offers several positive aspects regarding accessibility for guests with disabilities. Facilities within the hotel are generally acceptable, providing good accessibility to various floors and an accessible pool for relaxation. The attentive reception staff are noted for their supportive attitude, enhancing the overall experience for guests requiring assistance. However, there are some areas for improvement. There is a lack of designated parking spaces for disabled guests, which can pose a challenge and the rooms are not always easily accessible.
