Summary of reviews related to the '4 Star' category
Summarized by AI
The reviews for the Royal Hotel shed light on some inconsistencies with its 4-star rating. While it is classified as a 4-star establishment, guests frequently question the validity of this rating, particularly due to the comfort level of the furnishings. Many guests remarked on the uncomfortable beds and pillows, which detracted from their overall experience. The decor is described as dated, with furniture reminiscent of the 80s, suggesting that the hotel could benefit from refurbishment to truly match its 4-star designation.
The hotel itself is noted to be an older building, and although some renovations have been undertaken, they appear minimal and insufficient for its supposed category. The size of the rooms is smaller, which might not meet the expectations typically associated with this rating.
Additional concerns arise from the extra charge for the private car park, with some deeming the €10 nightly fee unreasonable. Overall, while the Royal Hotel carries the title of a 4-star hotel, many guests feel that it falls short of this standard, both in comfort and aesthetic appeal.
