The area is celebrated for its beauty and peacefulness, making it ideal for families and business travelers alike. Although getting to Rome’s main tourist spots might require a bit of a walk or a short drive, the hotel's luxurious and comfortable accommodations, coupled with its professional and friendly staff, ensure a pleasant stay.

Breakfast

At the Radisson Blu GHR Rome, the breakfast experience stands out with guests frequently describing it as great, rich and varied. The breakfast room is spacious and nicely furnished with some praising it as atmospheric, though a few noted it is located in the basement without natural light. Guests appreciated the high-quality ingredients and the wide variety on offer, including cold and hot dishes with a good selection of both sweet and savory options like eggs, cheese, salmon, pancakes and pastries. Many guests found the breakfast to be generous, plentiful and abundant, catering to diverse dietary needs such as gluten-free options. Positive mentions often highlight warm and polite breakfast staff, excellent coffee and the overall quality and freshness of the food. Weekends may offer the added treat of breakfast on a rooftop terrace with beautiful views of Rome. However, some guests felt the breakfast menu lacked variety over a longer stay and suggested improvement. There were occasional complaints about the temperature of certain items like scrambled eggs and the scarcity of specific foods due to them running out. Despite this, the general sentiment is overwhelmingly positive with many agreeing the breakfast is a standout feature of the hotel experience at Radisson Blu GHR Rome.

Dinner

The dining experience at the Radisson Blu GHR Rome offers a mix of delightful and varied options. Guests frequently praise the beautiful rooftop restaurant and its panoramic views, making it a preferred choice for both evening meals and aperitifs at sunset. The ambiance is described as pleasant and refined, providing a comfortable setting for meals. The restaurant on the 7th floor garners compliments for its good food and the value it offers at night, along with commendable service from the staff. Despite the high prices, many diners appreciate the quality of the food with some particularly noting the fantastic dishes. Lunches have been described as first-class and typical Roman dishes are available at reasonable prices. The indoor restaurant, despite some remarks on its dated decor and the occasional negative comment on freshness and variety, still offers savory food and a broad buffet selection. Patrons also highlight the convenience of room service, although it comes at an extra cost. Overall, the views from the restaurant and the quality of some meals enhance the appeal of dining at this hotel.

The majority of reviews paint a positive picture, emphasizing the spaciousness and comfort of many rooms. Families, in particular, seem to find the rooms accommodating with several remarks on the sizable and well-maintained spaces. The suites are frequently highlighted as luxurious and modern, often boasting large bathrooms and appealing decor. Guests also appreciate the amenities such as comfortable beds and well-equipped rooms, enhancing the overall experience. Cleaning standards generally receive high marks with many noting the daily room cleaning service and overall cleanliness. The stylish, modern design of some rooms and their cozy ambiance are also recurring favorable points in the reviews. However, the experiences are not universally positive. Some guests found the rooms to be smaller than expected, particularly those traveling in pairs or expecting more space. Issues with cleanliness were not uncommon with reports of unclean floors and showers. Problems with air conditioning—either too hot or too cold—were noted, as well as noise from city trains and traffic affecting light sleepers. A few reviews mentioned dated furniture and a need for renovation in specific rooms. Despite these issues, the general sentiment leans towards a comfortable and accommodating stay, especially in the more spacious and upgraded rooms.

Beds

Guests of the Radisson Blu GHR Rome consistently praise the hotel's beds for their comfort and cleanliness. Clean bed sheets and well-maintained bedding are common highlights with numerous reviews emphasizing the sheer comfort of both the standard and king-size beds. Guests enjoyed spacious suites that are modern and comfortable and appreciated the design and quality of the bedding. Many noted that the pillows and towels were super soft, enhancing their overall experience. Despite one mentioning mattresses being as hard as the floor and another describing an additional bed as very hard, the majority of reviews celebrate the beds as being very cozy and delivering great sleep quality. The availability of two double beds made setting up rooms easy for groups and real beds as opposed to camp beds were also well-received. A few mentioned specific room setups, like having three real beds in a room which contributed to their comfort. Complimentary features such as top-notch breakfast and super clean rooms added to the positive stay experience. Minor critiques included issues with extra beds' comfort and some mattresses, but these did not overshadow the dominant praise for the overall sleeping arrangements at the hotel.

Cleanliness

Radisson Blu GHR Rome has garnered significant praise for its cleanliness, which stands out as one of its strongest features. The majority of guest reviews highlight the high standards of cleanliness maintained throughout the property. Public areas, rooms and bathrooms are frequently described as very clean, immaculate and spotless. The hotel’s housekeeping team is noted for their daily room cleaning, effectively ensuring that rooms are consistently maintained to a high standard. Guests appreciate the well-kept, modern and elegant structure of both the rooms and common areas, often mentioning the hotel’s clean and welcoming ambiance. The staff also received positive remarks for their attentiveness and friendliness, contributing to an overall comfortable and pleasant stay. However, a few reviews did point out some inconsistencies. Some guests encountered issues such as dirty sheets, dusty areas and bathrooms needing more attention. Despite these occasional lapses, the general consensus remains favorable with most guests impressed by the hotel's commitment to cleanliness. In summary, Radisson Blu GHR Rome is largely perceived as a clean, comfortable and well-maintained hotel with regular and thorough cleaning being a hallmark of the guest experience. The few minor issues raised are outweighed by the numerous positive reviews, making it a reassuring choice for travelers prioritizing cleanliness.

Staff

At Radisson Blu GHR Rome, the staff consistently receives high praise for their friendliness and professionalism. Most guests find the service exceptionally welcoming with many noting the staff's proactive and attentive approach. Various reviews mention the supportive and courteous nature of the team, highlighting their readiness to assist with any requests. Special mentions go to individuals like Marco, Alessandro, Max, Maria and Giovanni, who have left a positive impression on guests. The front desk and reception staff are frequently appreciated for their politeness and customer-oriented service. Despite the overwhelmingly positive feedback, there are a few mentions of less favorable experiences. The warm reception and high level of personal attention seem to elevate the stay for many visitors, making it a recommended choice for those prioritizing excellent customer service in their travels.

Radisson Blu GHR Rome offers its guests WiFi connectivity as part of their stay, but the service receives varied feedback. Some guests commend the hotel for providing stable and fast WiFi that meets their needs and a few even describe the experience as quite satisfying. However, many find the WiFi service problematic with issues such as weak signals, intermittent connectivity and poor range, especially in certain areas of the hotel, including higher floors. Several reviews indicate that WiFi usage is not always included in the room price with some guests mentioning additional charges. Overall, while some guests enjoy reliable internet connectivity, others feel that the WiFi facility requires significant improvement to enhance the overall guest experience.

Gym

The Radisson Blu GHR Rome offers a convenient 24/7 gym that has received mixed feedback from guests. The gym is highlighted for being adequately equipped, making it suitable for a range of exercises, catering even to families. Some reviews appreciated the presence of lockers and described the facilities as nice, especially noting the rooftop gym's appeal. However, there were mentions of the gym being small and in need of better maintenance with a few indicating that it was not operational or unavailable during their stay. This could potentially be an area for the hotel to focus on for improvement. The hotel's parking space, on the other hand, received positive mentions.

Parking

Guests at Radisson Blu GHR Rome have varied experiences with the hotel's parking options. On the positive side, there is a parking garage available and valet services, including a complimentary option, enhance convenience for some. Finding a parking space near the hotel is often possible and free street parking can sometimes be an added advantage. The underground parking, despite its cost, has been well-received by some and a nearby public parking lot offers a guarded alternative. However, some aspects of the parking experience could be challenging. The parking garage across the street has a narrow entrance that could be problematic for larger vehicles. Additionally, not all guests find parking convenient; some mention that it is far from the hotel, expensive or difficult to find. There are also reports of no parking spaces available directly at the hotel, necessitating the use of street parking or nearby paid lots. Overall, while parking is available in various forms, it may come with certain inconveniences or costs.

Special touches, such as welcome gifts for children that include bath products, slippers, a ball and a drink card, add to the overall pleasant experience for younger guests. The hotel's child-friendly approach extends to the room setup with features like a good TV for kids and layouts that offer ample space even for families with three young children. Though a minor remark was made about a room being a bit cramped or not matching its online description exactly, the majority of feedback praises the hotel's family-centric design and services. For families looking for a seamless travel experience, the hotel’s airport transfer service is also highly recommended. Overall, Radisson Blu GHR Rome is recognized as an ideal spot for family stays, offering a combination of spacious accommodations, attentive service and thoughtful amenities geared towards making both parents and children feel comfortable and welcome.

The cleanliness of rooms has been a concern for some and not all rooms meet accessibility standards. While the hotel features a fully accessible gym and fitness center, certain other areas are less accessible due to multiple steps and the absence of handrails.
