Barkwells treats every cabin as though it has been in contact with COVID. That is to say, it is thoroughly cleaned, disinfected, and aired out between each guest arrival. We use EPA-approved disinfectants as well as natural products (due to extra care taken with respect to our canine guests). Guests wear masks when they come in the office. The entire Barkwells staff, including housekeeping, grounds, maintenance, and customer service teams, have been thoroughly trained on our health policies and procedures (also available on our website), which are consistently reviewed with the changing conditions. Given the design of the retreat, there is limited contact with other guests or staff and the grounds provide optimal space to enjoy the outdoors and the company of others while maintaining a healthy distance.
