La Marvella in Bengaluru emerges as a delightful surprise for those entering with modest expectations for a five-star property. Guests frequently praise its impeccable cleanliness and the individually styled ambience that sets it apart. Many perceive it as a true five-star experience, offering the quality and comfort that one would hope for in a luxury hotel. Notably, it seems to provide five-star quality at favorable prices, often likened to those of a four-star establishment, making it a top pick in its part of the city. However, there are some mixed perceptions regarding the hotel's amenities and level of service, with suggestions of needing improved publicity and training for the staff. While certain aspects such as toiletries may not meet everyone's expectations, the overall experience stands strong in hospitality, cementing its place as a favored option for many travelers.

Svenska Design Hotel in Electronic City, Bangalore has been a point of contention among guests with many reviews indicating that the hotel's facilities and services fall short of what one would expect from a five-star establishment. While the hotel is officially certified as five stars, numerous reviews point out that the amenities and overall experience align more closely with a three-star rating. Despite its five-star classification, there were consistent remarks describing the hotel as terrible with subpar food and service. Although some guests highlighted that getting a five-star hotel at the offered rates in Bangalore is rare, overall impressions suggest that adjustments are required for the hotel to meet the high expectations of a genuine five-star experience.
