Location

The Regent Phu Quoc hotel is situated in a gated community of resorts on a beautiful dream island and while it may be a bit far from the centre of town and slightly out of the way from the more interesting parts of the island, it is ideally suited for a relaxing holiday. The location lacks any kind of charm once you exit the hotel, but the beach and surrounding area are pleasant for a walk. Some guests did note that facing the hotel was a strange ghost town/fake Paris which may freak out some people upon arrival, but overall, the location is a nice and peaceful area to rest and unwind.

Breakfast

Guests staying at Regent Phu Quoc can look forward to a fantastic breakfast experience. With a wide variety of options, including delicious Chinese cuisines, the breakfast buffet is possibly the biggest and most high-end selection in the area. Everything is fresh and much of it is made in-house, exceeding guest expectations. Despite some frustrating hiccups with getting seated, the breakfast buffet is definitely worth the wait. Guests rave about the range of tastes, cuisines and baked goods available with some even calling it the best breakfast they've ever had. Just make sure to remember that breakfast is included in your plan!

Dinner

If you're looking for a great dining experience during your stay in Regent Phu Quoc, look no further than their amazing food options. Guests raved about the varied and excellent food choices, including the popular Ocean Club and Rice Market. The staff also provided great food recommendations, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. In the evening, guests can choose from four appetizers, four main courses and three desserts. Although the menu doesn't change, guests still enjoyed the delicious offerings. Plus, the staff at SUN went above and beyond to make guests feel happy and comfortable during their dinner. While some guests unfortunately experienced food poisoning, it's clear that the majority had an amazing and memorable dining experience at Regent Phu Quoc.

Guests can stay in amazing bedrooms, including the Skypool Villa on the 8th floor with a phenomenal view. The rooms are functional, tastefully furnished and have beautiful design with ankle and wash areas, pool areas, atmospheric lighting and soothing water sounds. The minibars are replenished and the rooms are meticulously cleaned. Guests can enjoy traditional dishes from various regions of Vietnam and Korea. The rooms even come with private infinity pools or mini-pools on the balcony, adding to the overall feeling of perfection. While it may be hard to put into words, guests agree that their stays at Regent Phu Quoc are nothing short of amazing.

Staff

The Regent Phu Quoc hotel boasts stunning architecture and exceptional customer service, earning a 10 out of 10 rating from guests. The staff, consisting of a dynamic 500-strong team, are friendly, professional and attentive with a sincere dedication to ensuring guests have an exceptional stay. Many guests specifically mention staff members who went above and beyond, such as Dora, the F & B manager and Zung, who helped with reservations. The hotel's focus on customer satisfaction is apparent with staff genuinely caring about improving guests' stays. The friendly and helpful staff, who speak excellent English and are focused on guests' safety and wellness, are what make this hotel extraordinary. The service in the Sora & Umi bar is exceptional with excellent drinks and expert advice. However, some guests experienced frustrating hiccups when it came to service, particularly with getting seated or with front desk interactions. Despite this, the vast majority of guests describe the staff as engaged, motivated and consistently providing excellent service. Special thanks go to Oanh and Yu, who provided a loving and professional experience. Overall, the staff at Regent Phu Quoc are described as professional, kind and with a great sense of hospitality, making for an unforgettable stay.

The hotel boasts not one, but multiple amazing pools, including an infinity pool on the 10th floor. Relax and unwind in the pool area surrounded by atmospheric lighting and the soothing sounds of water. While the pool area may only receive afternoon sun, it is a small price to pay for the spectacular sunsets on offer. There are also plenty of wellness activities and water sports available for guests to enjoy. And if you prefer the beach, not to worry, it is very clean. Don't miss out on the main pool and Puba pool during your stay and even indulge in a dip in the room pool, (though it may be a bit chilly). The pool area caters to all, including an outdoor pool, children's pool and convenient operating hours.
