Guests enjoyed their lovely stay in the clean and well-appointed rooms, each with a unique and eclectic theme. The pool was great on a hot day with plenty of shady spots and the staff were wonderful and gracious. The location may seem strange at first, but it is conveniently located near a variety of food and shops. While there was an extra fee for parking, guests appreciated the free parking and made use of their rental car to drive to the airport since there was no shuttle service. Some guests felt a bit out of place if they were over 35, but it didn't detract from their enjoyment of the hotel. The record player in the room may not be a big deal for some, but others found it to be a fun touch. Overall, RISE Uptown captures the downtown feel with retro-modern comfort and unique details that set it apart from other hotels.
