The Aquila Porto Rethymno hotel boasts a beautiful location with a beach right in front of it. Despite the pool temperature being a bit cold and the limited number of sunbeds available, guests still enjoyed their stay thanks to the super professional and polite staff, clean facilities and comfortable beds. The hotel's restaurants offer delicious and diverse food, including themed dinners and there are plenty of convenient options for ordering drinks and snacks on the beach. The hotel also has two small outdoor pools, although many guests preferred to take advantage of the stunning sea instead. Overall, while some guests noted minor disappointments with the pools, the exceptional location, breakfast, direct beach access and excellent service made up for it.

The Bio Suites Hotel & Spa boasts a nice pool area with enough sun-beds and a pool bar that serves great food and drinks. The pool is lovely, although some guests found the water to be very cold. The pool has specific times (8am to 6pm) and Greek diner is available around the pool on Mondays. Some guests noted that finding a spot at the pool could be difficult, as people reserve sun-cots with towels, which is not permitted at many hotels. However, the pool view is nice and some even described the pool as awesome! Additionally, the hotel is conveniently located just around the corner from the beach. The pools are described as beautiful and not crowded with towels available for guests. Unfortunately, the pool does close early and some guests had issues with the sauna and jacuzzi not functioning properly. On a positive note, the hotel has a fitness room and a pool with warm water, but it should be noted that beach chairs incur an additional cost. Overall, the pool area at Bio Suites Hotel & Spa is one of its notable features with plenty of sun and beautiful surroundings.

The 'Ilios Beach Hotel Apartments ADULTS ONLY' boasts an impressive pool area that guests can't stop raving about. The pool is clean and well-maintained with plenty of sunbeds for hotel guests to lounge on. There's also a private pool for a more secluded swim. The swimming pool is set in a beautiful garden or courtyard, depending on the room you're in, making for a picturesque scene. Although the pool may look smaller than expected from the photos, it's the perfect size and has a bar nearby where you can order drinks and snacks. The pool area is also pristine with towels readily available for use. Breakfast can get a little crowded during peak seasons, but that's a small inconvenience. The hotel is situated near the beach and harbor with own parking lot. The only downside is that the surrounding area lacks a bit of nature, which means guests might not want to stay there for a long time. Overall, it's a fantastic hotel with a beautiful swimming pool that guests just can't get enough of.
