The breakfast at István Király Szálló receives mixed reviews. While many guests appreciate the abundant and delicious buffet options featuring cold cuts, scrambled eggs, sausages, bread and muesli, some feel the variety could be improved with more sweet pastries, better coffee and additional vegetarian and lactose-free options. Despite these minor drawbacks, the breakfast is generally considered satisfactory and a good start to the day.

Dinner at the hotel's restaurant consistently delights guests, praised for its excellent culinary offerings and wide variety of dishes. Both à la carte and buffet options impress with their quality and taste, served in a charming dining terrace atmosphere. The restaurant offers generous portions at moderate prices, making it a noteworthy dining experience.

Rooms are described as clean, tidy and spacious with comfortable beds and beautiful views in some cases. However, some guests note that the rooms could benefit from renovations and newer furniture, as well as the addition of air conditioning and tea/coffee facilities. Despite these suggestions, the rooms offer good value for money and serve as a decent base for travelers.

While the overall cleanliness of the hotel is praised with well-organized and comfortable rooms, there are specific areas needing improvement. Issues include bathroom cleanliness, such as limescale and moldy plumbing, as well as dining area cleanliness during breakfast. Nevertheless, the staff’s friendliness and helpfulness mitigate these concerns for many guests.

The staff at István Király Szálló consistently receive high praise for their kindness, helpfulness and friendliness. Guests commend their willingness to go above and beyond, creating a welcoming and pleasant atmosphere. Despite occasional language barriers, the staff manage to provide impeccable service and contribute significantly to the hotel's positive experience.

Families find István Király Szálló to be an ideal destination, especially for children who enjoy the enchanting experience of staying in a castle. The hotel offers a large grassy area for outdoor activities and is pet-friendly, ensuring a pleasant visit for the entire family. The accommodation is described as romantic and child-friendly, making it a standout choice for family getaways.

The beds at István Király Szálló receive commendation for their comfort, significantly contributing to a positive sleeping experience. Although some guests note minor issues like mattress consistency and bunk bed fall protection, the majority find the beds comfortable and conducive to a restful stay.

In summary, István Király Szálló offers a charming and unique stay within a historic castle, enhanced by its beautiful surroundings, excellent dining and friendly staff. While there are areas for improvement, particularly in breakfast variety and room amenities, the overall experience remains highly positive, making it a memorable destination for travelers.
