Aston Hotel claims a four-star rating, yet many guest reviews suggest otherwise. Numerous patrons express dissatisfaction with the hotel's adherence to four-star standards, citing inadequate room decor, dated bathrooms and poor maintenance. Breakfast offerings appear limited and the overall structure seems to have degenerated from what one would expect of a four-star establishment.
Despite these concerns, some guests acknowledge that the pricing and affordability might make it appealing for those seeking budget accommodations. However, they consistently note that the experience feels more in line with a three-star hotel. While there are occasional mentions of the hotel meeting four-star expectations, these are overshadowed by frequent criticisms that describe the hotel as failing to uphold the quality typically associated with its four-star rating.
Overall, the hotel is said to offer good value for a lower tier, but it does not seem to live up to the four-star classification it promotes.
