The hotel in itself is like a museum and there is no need to visit any other monument in the area. The historic charm of the monastery has been preserved very well with perfectly dated antique elements incorporated into the decor. The location is magical, surrounded by 8 hectares of forest that make the place absolutely unique and different. The historical building with its corresponding charisma is awe-inspiring and sleeping in a former monastery with antique rooms is extraordinary. The atmosphere of the former monastery is particularly beautiful and creates an authentic, tranquil monastic experience in a monumental building. Guests enjoyed staying in a beautiful historic hotel with a lot of interesting things to see, such as a huge, lovely garden, a stunning chapel, elegant hallways and historic rooms. The entire ambiance of the Pousada Mosteiro de Guimaraes is amazing, as it is located in the oldest monastery of Portugal in the royal city of Guimaraes, making it a breathtaking and unique historical location.
