The resort offers a lot of fun with its Aqua Park complete with pool water slides and fantastic swimming pools, including an outdoor pool, a heated pool and children's pools. The pool areas are lovely and well-maintained. The sandy and clean beach is safe for kids, although some guests noted issues with the sea water quality and a strong smell of diesel from the nearby boat channel. The hotel staff were extremely helpful, even assisting a family member with mobility challenges. However, the hotel is located on a hill, so there are many stairs to get to the restaurant, pool or beach which may not be suitable for those with young children. Overall, guests are sure to have a great time at this hotel with multiple beautiful outdoor pools and a wonderful sandy beach that gently slopes into the sea.

The breakfast and dinner options are exceptional with a wide variety of fresh and delicious food available. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with many overlooking beautiful gardens or the sea. The hotel's cleanliness and upkeep are exceptional with guests praising the staff for their friendliness and attention to detail. The hotel is also family-friendly with plenty of activities for children and excellent food options. The outdoor facilities, including multiple pools and private beaches, are well-maintained and beautiful. While there were some minor issues reported, overall, the hotel exceeds its 4-star rating in many ways and is a great value for the money.

The hotel boasts an amazing location with its own beautiful beach and a meticulously maintained garden with thousands of trees and flowers. The breakfast and dinner options are exceptional with a wide variety of delicious and fresh food, including Cretan specialties and live cooking stations. The rooms are spacious, clean and well-equipped with lovely views of either the sea or the private bay. The staff is amazing and professional, going above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. The pool area is terrific with multiple pools to choose from, all of which are well-maintained and surrounded by a beautiful landscaped garden. The hotel's outdoor pool is highly recommended. The Iberostar Selection Creta Marine is an excellent destination for families with many activities for kids and friendly staff. While some guests had issues with the beds and occasional shortages of lounge chairs by the pool, overall, the hotel experience is positive with beautiful and clean surroundings, excellent dining options and friendly staff.
