However, some reviews describe a staff shortage and some guests were disappointed to find that their children were restricted from certain facilities. Despite this, the hotel's location is excellent with lots of things to do nearby. Unfortunately, the hotel can be quite expensive and some guests were not satisfied with the quality of the hotel's rooms. Additionally, be warned that the hotel does hold weddings and rowdy guests can disturb the peaceful atmosphere. Moreover, there are limited dining options beyond the tatty pub in the middle of nowhere. Nevertheless, visitors agreed that La Mon Hotel & Country Club makes a nice getaway for families looking for a good time.

While it may not be the best for larger groups, couples and friends will find it to be a wonderful spot. The hotel is perfect for a special birthday celebration, but there is very little for kids to do on the premises - a playground or larger park would be a great addition. However, the complementary taxi service is a nice touch and the hotel has a lovely outdoor veranda with a fire pit. Whether you want to lounge in your room and wake up at your own pace or explore the premises without noisy doors or people walking up and down corridors, there really is something for everyone at Galgorm. Overall, it's a lovely, relaxing time that many are sure to want to experience again.

Despite this, the Cultra Inn on the grounds of the hotel was a better dining choice for families. Overall, the Culloden Estate and Spa is a fantastic option for a memorable birthday treat or a night away with the family.

The hotel offers beautifully decorated family rooms that are spacious and very comfortable, including eco lodges that are perfect for families of four with teenage kids. However, guests were disappointed that the hotel doesn't facilitate children with no swimming pool and children not allowed in the hot tub. Fortunately, several guests booked pumpkin picking and a causeway tour to keep the kids entertained. The hotel is perfect for a family night stay and a family relaxed 80th birthday celebration. Although the kitchen lacked some basic essentials, such as more than two wine glasses for four guests, the lodge gave guests extra space required to enjoy family time. Many guests were pleased with their stay and already planning their next trip with their family.
