Hotels with Swimming Pool in Normanton

The pool at Oulton Hall Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort is a popular attraction among guests, but it seems to have both its pros and cons. Some visitors absolutely loved the spa with its pool, sauna and jacuzzi, while others found the water in the swimming pool to be too cold. Some mentioned that the pool regularly reached capacity, making it difficult for them to use and some even reported unsupervised children and teenagers causing a disturbance. However, there were positive reviews with many guests complimenting the good pool and sauna facilities and others saying that they enjoyed the heated pool. Unfortunately, there were also mentions of the pool area needing major maintenance work and several guests were disappointed to discover that children under 16 were not allowed to swim after 10am. Despite these mixed reviews, many guests still enjoyed their stay at Oulton Hall and hope to use the pool next time.

The 'Waterton Park Hotel' has an excellent leisure club with good facilities including a heated indoor pool, gym, sauna and jacuzzi amongst others. The pool provides a fabulous view of the lake and it is immaculately clean. However, the location of the restaurant by the pool could be unfortunate at times, as one could smell the chlorine whilst eating. The hotel also sectioned off an area of the pool for kids and parents to play, which could be quite busy and noisy, making it less relaxing for other guests. Some people also found it inconvenient to walk through the bar to get to the pool. Overall, the pool and leisure facility are a nice addition and provide an enjoyable experience, especially with the picturesque view.
