The pool outside the unit, especially the one in the master bedroom, provides an enjoyable view of the peaceful environment with the sunset creating fantastic views. However, some of the pools, particularly the villa's private pool, need maintenance and cleaning as there were lots of debris, dead insects and even sand. On the other hand, some guests noticed that the main pool by the bar needed some love and the water for the pool in one of the rooms looked murky. The lap pool at the bar had barriers wrapped in nylon, flaking the material and entering the pool, which could be a potential environmental hazard. Despite some of the negative reviews, the overall feedback is that the pools are clean and accessible with buggies available to take guests around. Additionally, Montigo Resorts Nongsa provides a selection of restaurants and activities for guests to enjoy, even if some of the reasonably priced activities were sold out quickly with some visitors commenting on the pricey ones. While the blue pool may need some cleaning and the pool-side bar at the main pool is leaking every time it rains, the swimming pools are clean and enjoyable with towels available poolside. Some guests even mention the stunning views overlooking the beach from the pool. The outdoor pool was unfortunately closed during some guests' stays, but the emerald pool is still available.
