Comfort Hotel Bernau appears to be a budget-friendly, basic accommodation option that generally meets the expectations of a typical three-star hotel. The value for money is frequently noted as good or fair, making it an attractive choice for those seeking reasonable prices without the frills of more luxurious establishments. While some guests found it relatively comfortable for short stays, others pointed out that the facilities have seen better days and the overall cleanliness and condition do not always meet the standard of a three-star rating.
The hotel offers a simple breakfast, although the breakfast room is described as very cramped. For those on a budget, the pricing seems appropriate and reasonable with several guests specifically recommending it for its price/performance ratio. Overall, Comfort Hotel Bernau maintains a standard three-star level but may not impress those expecting anything more. It meets the needs of travelers seeking basic, no-frills accommodation at a competitive price.

Alte Feuerwache offers an accommodating experience with some mixed reviews, yet it appeals to travelers seeking value and location convenience. Many guests appreciate the fair price-performance ratio, making it a sensible choice for short stays. The check-in process is straightforward and uncomplicated, contributing to a pleasant initial arrival experience.
The hotel boasts a favorable location, with easy parking availability during evening hours and proximity to transportation options like trams, which, although noisy, enhance accessibility. The accommodation is deemed adequate given the price, with guests noting that it fulfills basic needs without luxury frills.
However, there are consistent concerns about the state of the facilities. Feedback includes issues with elevator functionality and room maintenance, such as occasional problems with room codes, TV reception, and shower conditions. Guests experience a lack of air conditioning and inconvenience due to non-operational hot water during some stays. The absence of breakfast and early check-in options, combined with some dissatisfaction regarding pricing, are noted areas for improvement. While some structural and service elements show wear and tear, the hotel's location often compensates for these drawbacks. It's a stay suited for those prioritizing cost-efficiency and locality over opulence.
