Location

The Capri Inn stands out for its exceptional location in the heart of Naples, making it an ideal choice for travelers seeking convenience and tranquility. Guests repeatedly highlight its proximity to the vibrant 5th Avenue, renowned for its shopping and dining options, as well as the close distance to Old Naples and the beach. The hotel's setting balances ease of access to bustling attractions with the peace of a quiet neighborhood, offering a central yet relaxed stay. Visitors appreciate the beautiful and well-maintained property, complemented by a lovely reception area and clean, spacious rooms. The hotel exudes a charming, older style, which adds to its elegant ambiance. Moreover, the convenient parking and short walks to numerous local attractions, including the main streets, make it a perfect base for exploring Naples. Cleanliness and friendly service further enhance the experience with guests frequently noting the comfort and quality of the accommodations. Although the air conditioning can be loud, the overall serene atmosphere, combined with the stunning location, makes The Capri Inn a highly recommended lodging choice in Naples.

Breakfast

Breakfast at The Capri Inn garners mixed responses from guests with largely lukewarm feedback. While the hotel offers a basic continental breakfast, many reviewers noted that the selection is minimal, often limited to coffee and a single pastry such as a croissant, muffin or bagel. Some found the light breakfast options satisfactory and enjoyed the convenience of morning coffee, but others were disappointed by the lack of variety and the reliance on disposable containers. Guests commonly described the breakfast as insufficient for the price of their stay with many suggesting that more options, including proteins and fresh fruit, would enhance the experience. Criticisms also included the additional charges for items like juice and the overall limited offerings, which some felt were not up to the expected standards of a hotel in this price range. For those seeking a more substantial start to the day, the breakfast fell short, prompting several to seek alternatives outside the hotel. Despite these critiques, a few guests did appreciate the simplicity and found the breakfast offerings decent, albeit minimalistic. Overall, The Capri Inn’s breakfast can be considered modest and functional but may not meet the expectations of all travelers.

Rooms

The Capri Inn is often praised for its exceptional room quality. Guests frequently mention that the rooms are spotless, beautifully decorated and calming. Many find the accommodations very welcoming, enjoying thoughtful touches such as champagne. The rooms are described as comfortable, spacious and well-equipped, boasting chic and modern décor with a classic charm. A standout feature is the size of the rooms with several guests highlighting large bedrooms, extensive living areas and spacious bathrooms. The cleanliness and upkeep are consistently noted with rooms being described as well-ventilated, airy and newly renovated. The beds are often mentioned for their comfort, contributing to a restful stay. The décor is a blend of old-fashioned elegance and modern updates, creating a cozy yet stylish ambiance. High ceilings and large windows enhance the spacious feel, while some rooms even offer lovely balconies and exceptional views. Guests appreciate the functional and fresh atmosphere of the accommodations, often referring to the hotel as a chic gem. Despite the overwhelmingly positive feedback, a few reviews mention areas for improvement, such as occasional musty smells, noise from the AC and outdated room features. Nevertheless, the overall sentiment remains extremely positive with many guests commending the comfort, cleanliness and attractive design of the rooms at The Capri Inn.

Beds

The beds at The Capri Inn have garnered significantly positive feedback from guests with numerous mentions of their comfort and size. Many reviews highlight the comfort of the beds, describing them as comfy, larger than standard and very clean. Phrases like "super comfortable" and "huge bed" underscore the satisfaction with both the quality and the dimensions, while terms such as "nicely comfortable," "bed was comfortable," and "comfortable and large" reflect well on the consistent comfort across various room types. There are a few less favorable comments noting some inconsistency with isolated mentions of a lumpy bed and a mattress that was less than ideal. One particular mattress in room 103 was specifically pointed out as terrible and some guests found the beds too small for sharing. While the majority of feedback on the beds is positive with references to both queen and king-sized options adding to the appeal, potential guests might want to be aware of occasional noise issues, especially during rain and some dissatisfaction with the size of the beds in certain rooms. However, the overall sentiment suggests guests can expect a good night’s sleep at The Capri Inn.

Cleanliness

The Capri Inn receives high marks for cleanliness from its guests with many describing it as very clean, spotless and exceptionally clean. Guests appreciate the well-maintained rooms that are always kept up, comfortable and spacious. The common areas, including the reception, dining, pool and patio, are often highlighted for being both clean and beautifully maintained. Many reviews mention the hotel is clean and well located and the atmosphere is described as super clean and comfortable. However, there are a few criticisms, mostly regarding the occasional musty smell in some rooms and issues with housekeeping services. Some rooms appear a bit dated and show signs of wear, such as old carpeting. Complaints also mention an inconsistent cleaning service with some guests reporting their rooms weren't cleaned for several days, no towel changes and trash not being emptied. Despite these issues, the majority of guests seem satisfied with the overall cleanliness, noting the pleasant pool, friendly staff and the well-maintained facilities. The hotel's cleanliness and comfort, coupled with its serene environment, make it a restful and enjoyable place to stay.

Staff

The Capri Inn's staff receive predominantly positive feedback from guests with many highlighting their professionalism and friendliness. Reviewers often describe the staff as very friendly, helpful and accommodating. There is consistent praise for their exceptional service, attentiveness and courteous attitude. Guests mention being warmly welcomed and appreciated the effective communication from the staff. Specific mentions of the staff's kindness and politeness are frequent, creating an overall impression of a team dedicated to excellent customer service. However, it is worth noting that a few reviews indicate inconsistency with some guests encountering unfriendly or rude personnel, particularly at reception. Despite these occasional negative experiences, the vast majority of reviews reflect a cheerful, pleasant and helpful staff, making for a mostly positive guest experience at The Capri Inn.

Wi-Fi

The Capri Inn's wifi experience presents a mixed bag for guests. While some users appreciated the fast internet and its reliability, numerous reviews pointed out consistent issues with the wifi. Many rooms, especially those further from the router like 215, suffered from weak connections and average speeds. Some guests reported no internet at all, particularly among those on the third floor, where problems went unresolved during their stay. Business travelers noted the lack of reliable wifi as a significant downside. Overall, wifi performance ranged from functional to frustratingly poor, leaving a substantial gap in connectivity quality across different areas of the hotel.

Pool

The Capri Inn features a charming, albeit small, pool area that has garnered positive feedback from guests. The pool is frequently described as clean and well-maintained, offering a pleasant and peaceful setting to relax after a day of activities. Lounging options and umbrellas are plentiful, making it a comfortable spot to unwind. Towels are generally available and provided for free, although there were occasional instances of unavailability at arrival. The water temperature of the pool tends to be warm, adding to its appeal. Despite its modest size, the pool is suitable for short swims and lounging, available early in the day but closing at sunset. While the area could see some improvements and has had issues such as ants, overall, the amenities and cleanliness of the pool area enhance the experience for guests seeking a serene environment.

4 Star

The Capri Inn often surpasses guests' expectations with its clean, comfortable and spacious rooms. The beds are particularly noted for their quality, ensuring a pleasant stay. However, while many guests appreciate the high standards of the hotel, the four-star rating has sparked some debate. Specific feedback suggests that the hotel might better fit a three-star classification, indicating room for improvement in some areas to fully meet the four-star criteria typically expected in Naples, FL. Nonetheless, the positive remarks about room cleanliness and comfort are consistently highlighted.

Accessible

The Capri Inn exhibits commendable efforts towards accessibility for guests with disabilities. The hotel is notable for its handicap accessible rooms and bathrooms, ensuring that guests with mobility challenges can enjoy their stay comfortably. A key highlight is the availability of a lift specifically for wheelchairs, facilitating easy access to the pool area. The staff also offered assistance with loading and unloading wheelchairs, further enhancing the convenience for guests with specific needs. While there were a few concerns regarding the handicap friendliness of the shower and issues with the shower bench, the overall accessibility features, including the provision of essential amenities, contribute positively to the guest experience at The Capri Inn.

Outdoor Pool

The Capri Inn boasts a nice, heated outdoor pool that has garnered positive remarks from guests. Its pleasant and comfortable rooms add to the overall appeal of the hotel's location. While some mention that the pool is on the smaller side, the heated feature seems to ensure a comfortable swimming experience. However, occasional comments suggest a preference for a quieter ambiance around the pool area. Despite its size, the pool remains a valued amenity for visitors looking for a relaxing stay.

Boutique-Style

The Capri Inn captures the essence of a classic yet stylish boutique hotel, seamlessly blending old-world charm with modern updates. Guests appreciate its charming and well-decorated ambiance, which combines an Old Florida style building with a contemporary boutique feel.
