Location

Grande Shores is the perfect location for a vacation in Myrtle Beach, according to guest reviews. The hotel is conveniently located right on the beach, providing easy access to the ocean from your room. Many guests loved the quiet and peaceful location away from the busy part of town, while still being close enough to enjoy restaurants, shopping and activities. The oceanfront views from the rooms and balcony were incredible and the proximity to the pool and poolside bar made for a perfect beach day. Additionally, the convenience of parking and the short walk to the beach added to the overall wonderful experience at Grande Shores. Many guests highly recommended renting a car to explore the area. Overall, Grande Shores has an excellent location and is highly recommended for its breathtaking views, beach access and proximity to everything Myrtle Beach has to offer.

Breakfast

The lady in charge of keeping the serving dishes topped up was always friendly and there was even great food on site. The staff at the Cafe, restaurant, bar and maintenance were all delightful and made the guests feel welcomed. The front desk staff and housekeeping staff were also extremely helpful and kind and some guests even mentioned that they would visit again because of the amazing service they received. Not all interactions with the staff were perfect, as a few guests mentioned unfriendly staff, but the majority of feedback was overwhelmingly positive. Overall, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff made guests feel right at home at Grande Shores.

Grande Shores boasts a variety of pool options to enjoy during your stay including multiple outdoor pools, heated pools, lazy rivers and even an indoor pool. While the outdoor pool was closed due to construction during some guests' stays, they could still enjoy the 7th floor pool, hot tubs overlooking the ocean and rooftop pools. Families with children particularly enjoyed the children's pool and lazy rivers. Some guests found it difficult to locate the 7th floor pool area at first, but once they did, they loved the amenities available. The pool bar was a hit for those visiting Wed-Sat until 5pm.
