The Privathotel Lindtner Hamburg is a world-class, qualitatively high-end, 5-star family-run private hotel with exceptional service and a delightful atmosphere. The staff is attentive and friendly, the reception is perfect and the kitchen is top-notch. The rooms are spacious and the housekeeping is superb. The breakfast is fresh, delicious and prepared with love. While some guests had smaller rooms with older bathrooms, this did not detract from their overall satisfaction with the hotel. However, a few guests felt that the hotel's positioning as a five-star establishment was not accurate and expected more from the facilities and services provided. Nonetheless, the majority of guests highly recommended the Privathotel Lindtner Hamburg and would gladly return.

The HYPERION Hotel Hamburg City, Trademark Collection by Wyndham has been the subject of considerable discussion among travelers, particularly concerning its five-star rating. Many guests praise it as a very good hotel, noting its modern design and high-quality offerings. The price-performance ratio is generally regarded as fair, suggesting satisfactory value for money. Several reviews emphasize that it is a top-notch and top address hotel, with intentions to return.
However, the consistency of its five-star rating is debated among visitors. While a few reviews suggest the hotel deserves full marks, numerous others feel that it aligns more closely with a four-star experience. Issues highlighted include the absence of standard amenities such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, and slippers, which are generally expected at a five-star establishment. Other drawbacks mentioned are the occasional lack of cleanliness and minor maintenance issues, like water from the air conditioning system and inadequate curtain quality.
Despite these concerns, guests often find the staff friendly and accommodating, although there are notes about the team seeming inexperienced. The hotel's facilities such as bike racks in the garage are appreciated, though some travelers feel the overall experience could be enhanced with improvements like better internet connectivity and a more comfortable sleeping environment. For those expecting the typical luxury associated with a five-star hotel, expectations may not be fully met, yet the HYPERION Hotel Hamburg City, Trademark Collection by Wyndham offers a reasonable stay with notable merits in other aspects.
