Rooms

The rooms at the JOIA Rose Hall by Iberostar are extremely clean and beautifully decorated with equally comfortable beds and soft bedding and towels. Although some guests reported not getting the room they booked, the staff did their best to accommodate them. Some guests found limited signs to locate rooms properly and the hallways felt like a maze initially. Additionally, there was no functional map of the property and some guests reported no hot water and in-room towel service was lacking. However, the overall property and rooms are positively reviewed with guests reporting great comfort, but some found the rooms to be dated, lacking modern amenities such as USB plugs and limited electrical outlets. Despite some issues, guests found the staff accommodating and those who reserved a king bed suit, but that was not available, stayed in a 2-bed room instead.

Staff

The JOIA Rose Hall by Iberostar has a brilliant and fabulous team who offer a warm welcome to all guests. From housekeepers to the chef, the entire staff is attentive and friendly, making sure that guests feel comfortable and well taken care of. Although staffing issues sometimes delay things like dinner reservations, the majority of the staff are helpful and pleasant. Some guests did encounter difficulties with the concierge being difficult to get a hold of and in one instance, forcing guests to select a paid activity. Additionally, some guests noted that the housecleaning could have been better and that waiters were not very proactive. However, overall, the staff at this beautiful resort were great with only a couple of minor hiccups. It's worth noting though that some guests felt that the general feel of the resort was that people were working for tips and upsell and there were some interruptions from butlers checking in on guests.
