Although there were ground hornets on the island during one guest's visit, the staff is attentive and welcoming. The golf staff was good to guests and the food was good at both restaurants. Skiing at Shawnnee ski is also awesome. If you're a golfer, this is definitely the place for you. However, some guests feel as though the resort doesn't offer many amenities for children and seems to only care about golfers. Additionally, there was one comment about members from the golf course treating African Americans poorly, which is a concern. Nevertheless, the Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort is a beautiful property conveniently close to Bushkills Falls and worth a visit for a golf stay or girl's trip.
