The 'Post-Hotel' advertises itself as a four-star establishment, but feedback from guests suggests a disparity between expectations and reality. The building retains a charming 1970s aesthetic, which some guests found appealing, though it also contributed to perceptions of outdated facilities. While the hotel boasts four-star amenities, such as a complimentary mini-bar stocked with German beer, lemonade and mineral water, several guests felt that the overall service and facility standards fell short of the four-star mark.
The on-site organic restaurant receives high praise for its offerings, making it a highlight of the stay. However, the breakfast experience at the hotel was described as limited and simple, not meeting the standards typically associated with a four-star rating. Some guests noted broken furniture and defective devices in their rooms, further diminishing the expected quality. The absence of air conditioning in the rooms was also a point of contention.
Despite its reasonable rates, the consensus among guests is that while the hotel has its unique charm, it does not meet the full expectations of a four-star hotel and aligns more closely with a three-star experience.
