Dendrolivano is a beautiful and quiet family hotel, conveniently located near the Kefalonia airport, making it perfect for those looking for easy accessibility. The hotel is set in a lovely location with easy access to the nearby beach, various towns and major attractions. While the hotel is quite isolated from shops or restaurants, guests can enjoy the poolside cafe. The rooms provide fabulous sunset views and a glimpse of planes landing on the runway- not too noisy though. Push bikes are not available, so renting a car or bike is advisable for longer stays. The hotel's owner is always ready to provide helpful advice on various island activities. Though not an easy place to locate at night, the location of the hotel is perfect for exploring the island.

Breakfast

At Dendrolivano, guests can look forward to a unique breakfast experience with baskets delivered daily to their rooms. The homemade breakfast goods are incredibly delicious and the vegetarian option is excellent. The picnic basket breakfasts are an absolute highlight with amazing variety. Although some have found the portions to be small, the warm welcome and hospitality compensate for that. The breakfast baskets are always different and contain a decent variety of sweet and savory items, including omelettes and homemade cake and marmalade. However, there are no healthy options on offer and some found the breakfast to be overpriced. Despite this, most guests appreciate the novelty of breakfast in a basket and consider it a great touch.

The dinner at Dendrolivano is definitely a standout feature of the hotel. Guests rave about the homemade, traditional food which they describe as fantastic, exceptional and amazing. Portion sizes are generous and the meals are served either in the inside taverna or in the beautiful garden. Dendrolivano is a lovely family hotel that's close to the airport. The rooms are well presented, beautiful and exceptionally clean - credit to the friendly staff that clean them every day. Guests loved the comfortable and clean rooms that were perfect for what they needed with good size studios that were spacious and ample. Some guests enjoyed the view of the garden from their terrace or balcony, where they could see planes taking off. The breakfast was also lovely. However, some guests experienced smelly pillows that should have been washed or uncomfortable beds. Some rooms were a bit small, especially the bathroom and the air conditioning wasn't great. But overall, guests were happy with their stay and would recommend Dendrolivano as a good place to stay for long periods with everything that you need, including a small kitchen, air conditioning and a comfortable bed.
