Lunch at the Keepers golf club is a great option, although the menu is slightly limited, the fillet steak is a must-try. The staff at the club are a pleasure to interact with. The golf facilities are very good and offer fantastic views over the course. The setting is also beautiful and the food is lovely. The hotel is within an easy drive of Corbridge and other tourist sights, making it a fantastic choice not just for golfers, but for anyone who wants to explore the area. However, some guests pointed out a lack of coordination with some experiencing a double charge. Nonetheless, overall, Matfen Hall Hotel, Golf & Spa is a fantastic hotel with great golf facilities that are perfect for a number of golfers. The members are all very welcoming and the magnificent view to the golf only adds to the experience.
