The breakfast room had everything needed and the facilities were fabulous with well-stocked supplies of food and drink available anytime. Despite Covid restrictions, the breakfast options were okay but limited and some guests mentioned the lack of cooked breakfast. However, the hosts were lovely and helpful and guests appreciated the generous and flexible breakfast arrangements.

Clovelly Guest House is a fantastic choice for a vacation in Lyme Regis. The rooms are clean, comfortable and well-maintained with cosy and nicely decorated interiors. The beds are super comfortable with fresh and soft sheets which ensure a good night's sleep. The guest house is in a great location on a quiet street with beautiful sea views from some of the rooms. The rooms are equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay, such as tea and coffee-making facilities and little treats. The fixtures and fittings are of a very high standard. To top it off, the attention to detail is superb with lovely little touches that refresh everyday. Although some rooms are small, they are still comfortable and very clean. The bathrooms are nice and clean, however, some rooms have minute shower cubicles and small bathrooms, but they are adequate for a short stay. There are also some rooms with sea views, but others overlook a car park. Overall, Clovelly Guest House is a lovely place to stay and offers great value for money with beautifully decorated rooms which have cute little details and extras.

If you're looking for a comfortable bed during your stay in Clovelly Guest House, you won't be disappointed! The beds are super comfy with fresh sheets and lovely linen. We've received multiple comments from guests raving about the comfortable mattresses and pillows resulting in great nights of sleep. Some guests did mention that the mattresses were a little too soft, but this was a rare comment among the many positive ones. Overall, the beds are incredibly comfy with only a few small comments about the mattresses being a bit too soft or small for some. You'll wake up refreshed and ready to explore the nearby town and seafront!

Cleanliness

Clovelly Guest House is a beautiful and bright place to stay with superb facilities. The hosts are great and offer excellent service. The rooms are very clean, comfortable and tidy with beautiful bed linens and soft, fresh sheets. However, some guests have noted that the shower cubicle needs a deep clean and there is some mould present. Overall, the cleanliness is exceptional and the towels service is good. Everything has been thought about with really clear instructions and individually wrapped items for Covid safety. The B&B has made a good effort to address the concerns of the pandemic and is exceptionally clean, well presented and easy going. The room has a Seaview albeit overlooking a carpark and the location is good to enjoy the town. The breakfast options are also good, but it should be noted that it is not included in the booking.

They could not do more to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. They are warm and welcoming, always on hand to answer any questions and offer tips on places to visit and eat. The staff, including the housekeeper, are also very friendly and helpful. You'll feel right at home with the thoughtful, attentive and caring owners who go above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. From excellent communication to Covid care considerations, they have got you covered. The owners are proactive and approachable, always checking to see if you need anything, but also mindful of your space. They provide loads of local information and are incredibly informative. The hosts are a reflection of the guest house, lovely, suitable, very well organized and with great attention to detail. They are amazing, super-friendly and accommodating. Warm, friendly and kind, they make you feel like part of the family. The location is perfect with lots of choices for breakfast and there is more tea selection than you can find at Tesco! Overall, the staff at Clovelly Guest House is one of the best aspects of this charming guest house.
