The property's history can be traced back to the 16th century. The castle itself began reconstruction in 1810 on the center of a woodland park designed by André of Versailles, known to be one of the best French architects. The manor beside it was constructed earlier, around the 1700s. In 1965, the castle was turned into a hotel. Guests can stroll around the 2 km of private coastline or the naturally preserved 120 hectares park and fully enjoy their fairytale-like vacation.
