Rooms
If you're looking for a beautiful and unique place to stay in the countryside, Long Crendon Manor B&B might be for you. This absolutely fantastic old house has spacious and clean rooms that are beautifully furnished with some rooms featuring modern bathrooms and others showcasing ancient, creaky floors. Whether you're in the charmingly furnished Yellow Bedroom or the best bedroom with a 4 poster bed, you're likely to find the rooms comfortable and spacious. While some guests have reported some limitations of the room and the house, such as the bathroom being up very narrow crooked stairs, or the bathroom needing repairs, most have enjoyed their stay in these super comfortable rooms. Though there may be some cobwebs in the room and cups left unwashed from the last guests, this is understandable for its age. Capt Berry's room is fine, while the other bedroom is spectacular. If you're lucky enough to snag the huge suite, you'll find it very warm and cozy. As lovely as the rooms are, it's worth noting that this feels like a hotel in many ways, so you have to remember you're actually in a B&B. The hosts are lovely and the breakfast delicious. The grounds and gardens are beautiful, making it a great venue for a relaxing getaway. However, it's worth noting that this accommodation is not suitable for anyone with disabilities.

Cleanliness
While some guests have noted a few cobwebs that were out of reach or understandable for the age of the property, others have reported the need for a big clean as there were thick cobwebs everywhere, including cupboards, lights and even surrounding the bed head. It has been mentioned that some cups and tea and coffee amenities were left unwashed from previous guests. One guest expressed disappointment as the cleanliness of both the room and the bathroom did not meet their expected standard. Although some may find the cleanliness lacking, it's important to note that opinions may vary and the location may still offer a comfortable stay for some.

Staff
At Long Crendon Manor B&B, the hosts are a highlight of the stay. Guests frequently report feeling welcomed, looked after brilliantly and charmed by the owner who could not have been more helpful. Tim, in particular, is an exceptional and super-friendly host who gives great local knowledge. The other staff members are also praised for being very friendly and helpful. However, a few guests did have negative experiences with the host, such as smelling alcohol on their breath or being told that their room keys weren't necessary in a "safe family home." Despite these isolated incidents, the overwhelming consensus is that Long Crendon Manor B&B has lovely hosts who provide great hospitality and make for a friendly welcome.
